Viadrina European University (VEU)
360 Euro per month grants available for USU students who wish to study at VEU. See https://www.europa-uni.de/en/internationales/aktuell/englische-seminare/index.html for courses of study. 

Boren Scholarships and Fellowships

For undergrad or grad study in areas, languages, and files of study that are critical to U.S. national security. On campus deadline: Three weeks before the Boren deadline. Please complete all parts of the Boren application before our deadline and schedule an appointment with a study abroad advisor to review before you submit the application.

Bridging Scholarship

BUTEX North American Scholarships

Scholarship is open to all undergraduate students currently registered at an institution in the U.S. or Canada.

Congress Bundestag Youth Exchange for Young Professionals (CBYX)

CBYX is a yearlong fellowship program to study, work, and live with a host in Germany, and is for participants in business, engineering, technical, vocational, and agricultural fields. Deadline: December.
 
Critical Language Scholarships

Critical Language Scholarships (CLS) institutes provide fully-funded group-based intensive language instruction and structured cultural enrichment experiences for seven to ten weeks for U.S. citizen undergraduate, Master's, and Ph.D. students.

Go Overseas Scholarships

Freeman Asia Scholarship

Provides funding for U.S.-based undergraduates with demonstrated financial need who are planning to study overseas in East or Southeast Asia. 

Fund for Education Abroad

Provides funding for undergraduate students participating in semester or summer study abroad programs.

Fulbright U.S. Student Program

German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD)

Undergraduate funding for Germany includes a monthly stipend, health insurance, and a lump sum for travel.

Huntsman School Global Opportunities Scholarships

Japanese Government Scholarships
Apply through the USU Study Abroad Office.

Marshall Scholarship

National Society of Collegiate Scholars

Honors program that offers generous merit awards, scholar at sea awards, and scholar abroad awards.

Phi Kappa Phi

Must have between 30 and 90 credits. Deadline: February.

Rotary Scholarship

Recipients serve as Rotarian ambassadors of goodwill. Contact your local Rotary Club to see if they offer study abroad scholarships. 

Turkish Coalition of America (TCA)

The student needs to be accepted to a study abroad program or language program at a university in Turkey.

The Woodrow Wilson National Fellowship Foundation

For international affairs, political and economic analysis, administration, management, and science policy. Must be a U.S. citizen, GPA of 3.2 or better. Deadline: February.
